Activating, mobilising

Stretches can be good for flexibility, but they ignore the small muscles around your joints (synergistic muscles) that can go to sleep (de-activate) when sitting for a while. This puts increased pressure on other parts of your joints, which don’t like it very much.  

Activators re-activate those synergistic muscles to keep your joints protected by letting the muscles take the load.  Mobilisers move your joints to keep things moving freely.
